– To edit the element at design time, you can simply change the properties of the component. This will not effect the display, because the properties of the components are processed at design time. The properties can be:

Position, Height, Width, Area, Length and Move. To change the values of the properties, simply type in the values for the respective property and click on the appropriate button. If you wanted to switch, a new window will appear, allowing you to switch to an alternative component with the same properties.

– Changing the properties for a component will not change the size of the component on display. If you want to make a change to the display, it is necessary to zoom in on the display. The default setting is 250% zoom.

– To remove a component from the display, simply select the component and click on the Remove button.

– When you add a component to the display, it will be placed on the immediate left of the component that is already on display.

– Components in the display area will have a Layer field that indicates the layer in which they are located. The layer determines the contrast, brightness and colors of the component

Easy-to-use interface with lots of tools at hand
The application doesn’t take long to install and but it does come with some initial settings that you would need to make, before you can actually simulate power supplies.
The first thing that you need to do after launching the application is to complete the setup that would guide you through simulating your first power supply. You’ll need to pick the normal mains frequency, choose between 50 Hz, 60 Hz or 400 Hz.
Simulate power supplies
Next, you need to decide how accurate you want the results. If you have a slow machine, you may not want to choose high accuracy. Higher accuracies generally take more, although this setting can be changed at any time.
It will display a circuit at the top of the screen, with some options that you can adjust. You can change the values for transistor, the capacitor and the rectifier. It also comes with some options for the transformer, change values and source resistance.
More options and tools
You can have the software solution simulate the power supply for a certain amount of time. There’s the option to launch the simulation after a reporting delay of several minutes. There’s the option to adjust accuracy, allow warnings or enable the auto-simulate graphs.
Enable dual axis and change dual frequency. The rectifier leak can be changed and you can enable a soft start in the simulation process. When you’re done with the simulation process, you can print results easily from inside the application.
All in all, PSU Designer II is a very nice application for simulating power supplies and making all sort of changes and adjustments.

This is a pretty good simulator for simulating power supplies. I use it for practising how to set them up and looking for potential problems when I first set up a new power supply. Also it can simulate up to the t-8 rating and something else that you can only find by using the app.
