Imagine a world where any worker can—almost immediately—access an image of every new galaxy discovered. That’s the premise behind a program unveiled this week called Next Gen Digital Sky Survey. And, in fact, it’s already live. The program enables anyone to zoom in on newly identified galaxies and view their new features in exquisite detail—all the way down to the tiniest fuzzballs, which last year made headlines as the best place to find alien life.

Observers and astronomers have long dreamed of just such a capability; and, in fact, only recently have astronomers started to create images of the distant universe with high enough spatial resolution to spot the many new galaxies in the universe’s early stages. But an enormous cost and dedication of resources have prevented the astronomers from building a digital sky survey for decades. With Next Gen DSScamera, astronomers no longer have to compromise.

But Next Gen DSScamera’s real magic is still to come: the ability to simultaneously view a group of new galaxies using panoramic imaging and the location of these groups using galaxies’ redshifts. When a galaxy moves away from us—as if it is being pulled by gravity—it becomes redder as it moves away from us. So astronomers can look at a number of galaxies and determine which ones, if any, are moving away from us. Which galaxies are moving farther away? Which ones are moving closer to us? Galaxies that are moving away from us, but slowly, are an important clue to understanding dark matter.

I began my career as a professional astronomer, in 1984, when the United States and the Soviet Union created a satellite called the Cosmic Background Explorer to measure the origin of the universe. This discovery of the birth of the universe, dubbed the Big Bang, started the big bang era in science, one in which we are now at the dawn of another big bang era called the dark energy era.

In the 1990s, astronomers started to scan the entire sky in the infrared to see if a telltale fingerprint of the time of the Big Bang survived. They could do this because the visible light of the universe is completely different from infrared light. By the mid-1990s, they had discovered thousands of galaxies at the edge of the observable universe, confirming that the Big Bang happened more than

What’s New In Astronomy Calculators?

Automatically generates a report which lists all assigned tasks.
Includes (1) list of recent tasks; (2) list of pending tasks; (3) summary of tasks;
(4) completed tasks; (5) tasks with due date; (6) completed and due tasks; (7)
remaining and completed task types.
Provides information about new tasks assigned, task types changed, overdue
tasks (all task types), and completed tasks.
A Task Type is a set of strings that identify the task performed. The strings
are assigned by the application itself or by the user.
Task Type strings are made up of (1) the task name, (2) task ID and
(3) link. The task name (in bold) is the user-assigned task title.
The task ID (lowercase) is the system-assigned unique identifier for the
task. It is a string of alphanumeric characters. It is returned
from the task service, for example, when a task is completed, and is
human readable.
Link (in uppercase) identifies the relationship between the task name and
task ID.
Task names are unique.
Tasks may have multiple links to other task types. For example:
“Open a document” has a primary task type and “view other documents”
as a secondary task type.
Tasks may also have multiple associated task types.
For example:
“Create a document” has a primary and secondary task type.
“Add an attachment” has primary and secondary task type.
“View documents” has a primary task type and
“view other documents” as a secondary task type.
Tasks can be assigned to any user, group or team.
A task can be assigned to itself, and appear in self-report.
Tasks can be assigned to themselves. For example:
A user performs tasks A and B. Now, user wants to know about the status
of tasks A and B. The user, in self-report, will see tasks A and B.
Tasks can be assigned to any user, group or team. User assignments are
categorized by user, group and team assignment.
Assignment, by default, is read only.
Manage only their own task types.
Reporting menu options, and program functionality, are much improved when
user
